A group of 77 retired generals and admirals have sent a letter urging the United States to fully support an Israeli military strike against Iran’s nuclear program. The letter, issued by the Jewish Institute for the National Security of America (JINSA), emphasizes that preventing a nuclear Iran is critical to US and Israeli security. The retired military officials argue that Israel has already dismantled several Iranian-backed terror groups and must now take decisive action to stop Iran from crossing the nuclear threshold before it’s too late.
The letter urges the US to provide critical military assistance, including bunker-buster bombs and stealth bombers, to help Israel destroy Iran’s deeply buried nuclear facilities. The retired officials caution that diplomatic negotiations with Iran have repeatedly failed, allowing the regime to edge closer to nuclear capabilities. They warn that inaction would embolden adversaries like China, Russia, and North Korea, while encouraging other Middle Eastern nations to pursue nuclear weapons. Their call to action follows rising regional tensions, with Iran-backed groups escalating attacks against Israel and US forces in the region.
