The new documentary, The Age of Disclosure, has reignited debate over UFOs and alleged government secrecy regarding extraterrestrial life. The filmed premiered this past weekend at SXSW. Those that were able to view it have reported some disturbing content. Once the film is released for public to view, I will drop another report based on my observations.
According to the Daily Mail, the film features 34 military and intelligence whistleblowers, including Luis Elizondo, a former Pentagon official, who claim that aliens have not only visited Earth but are already among us. The documentary highlights decades of government cover-ups, citing whistleblower testimony that the U.S. has recovered “non-human biologics” and has been engaged in an 80-year effort to reverse-engineer alien technology. Lawmakers such as Marco Rubio and Kirsten Gillibrand have also called for increased transparency on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs).
One of the most well-documented encounters featured in the documentary is the 2004 "Tic Tac" UFO incident, where U.S. fighter pilots reported witnessing a craft that defied known physics. Despite these claims, critics argue that no declassified documents, physical wreckage, or verifiable biological evidence have been provided to substantiate them. Organizations like SETI remain skeptical, with astronomers stating that if alien craft were truly crashing on Earth, they would have been widely detected by now. While the Pentagon continues to deny the existence of extraterrestrial technology, growing political interest suggests that future declassification efforts may bring more revelations.
The rise in UFO claims aligns with increasing deception foretold in the last days. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 warns of great deception, including "false signs and wonders" that could lead people away from the truth. I personally believe that alien phenomena may serve as a tool of deception, possibly used to explain away the Rapture. Revelation 12:9 describes Satan as the one who "deceives the whole world," suggesting that these narratives could be part of a larger spiritual delusion preparing humanity for an end-times deception.
