A troubling new report reveals that a growing number of institutions identifying as Christian are developing ties to the abortion industry. Research conducted by the Demetree Institute for Pro Life Advancement examined 725 Christian colleges and universities across the United States and found that 114 schools—roughly one in seven—had some form of connection to abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood. These connections ranged from promoting internships with abortion providers to listing Planned Parenthood as a health resource or incorporating pro-abortion materials into coursework. According to the report, these activities have increased significantly since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, raising concerns about the direction of Christian higher education.

The findings highlight what many pro-life advocates describe as a deliberate effort to influence the next generation of Christian leaders. Researchers documented over 500 “infractions” across these institutions, the highest number recorded since the project began tracking such activity. Critics warn that even small institutional compromises can gradually reshape moral and theological perspectives among students who will one day become pastors, teachers, and leaders within the church. The concern is not simply political but deeply theological—touching on the fundamental biblical teaching that human life is created by God and worthy of protection.
