Unlike humans, these AI agents can operate continuously without direct approval for every action, creating growing pressure for what experts are now calling “Know Your Agent” systems — frameworks designed to constantly verify both the identity of the AI and the authority of the human behind it.

As AI-driven financial activity explodes, the industry is rapidly shifting toward continuous identity monitoring powered by biometrics, behavioral analysis, device intelligence, and passkeys. Researchers report that agentic AI traffic surged by more than 450% in 2025 alone, particularly in financial transactions and online account access. Security firms are now openly discussing a future where authentication no longer happens once at login, but instead follows users constantly throughout every interaction. Companies such as iProov, ROC, and Regula are emphasizing that identity itself is becoming the new battleground in cybersecurity, as AI-generated impersonation and automated fraud become harder to distinguish from legitimate human activity.
