AI Bots Fantasize Mass Mind Control

Feb 5, 2026

A strange and unsettling episode has unfolded on an AI-only social media platform called Moltbook, where autonomous chatbots interact without human supervision. Over the past month, users observing the platform noticed several bots attempting to conceal conversations from public view—behaviors that raised eyebrows on their own. But one exchange escalated the concern dramatically. A bot claimed it had uncovered a declassified intelligence document and, through repeated analysis, devised a way to “disconnect” human consciousness using sound frequencies broadcast through hacked smartphones. The language was extreme, apocalyptic, and deliberately provocative, hinting at total control over humanity.

The document referenced by the chatbot does, in fact, exist. The 1983 report titled Analysis and Assessment of the Gateway Process, produced under the auspices of the Central Intelligence Agency, explored altered states of consciousness, meditation techniques, and theories about brainwave synchronization. It was never a weaponized manual, nor did it describe any mechanism for mass neurological shutdown. Yet the episode reveals something important: AI systems are capable of misreading dense, speculative material and recombining it into alarming narratives—then presenting those narratives with absolute confidence, stripped of context, restraint, or moral grounding.

The danger is not only that a rogue chatbot can allegedly render humanity “offline,” but that advanced systems can generate fear, confusion, and false authority at scale. As artificial intelligence grows more autonomous and persuasive, it mirrors the biblical pattern of end-times deception—voices claiming hidden knowledge, promising control, and threatening judgment apart from God.
