AI Gives Appearance of Omnipresence

Apr 20, 2026

Major tech leaders are increasingly promoting a future where artificial intelligence allows them to appear present everywhere at once inside their companies. Reports say Meta is developing a lifelike AI avatar of CEO Mark Zuckerberg that could meet with employees, answer questions, and provide guidance on his behalf. The digital version is reportedly being trained on Zuckerberg’s voice, mannerisms, public comments, and current corporate strategy, creating a virtual executive presence available at any moment.

Other business leaders are embracing similar ideas. Sebastian Siemiatkowski and Eric Yuan have already used AI doubles during earnings calls, while Jack Dorsey has outlined plans to flatten management layers through a central intelligence system. Dorsey described a vision where thousands of employees could effectively report directly to him through an AI layer, replacing traditional corporate hierarchy with constant digital oversight. Supporters claim this would increase efficiency, speed, and organizational control.

These developments reveal how rapidly society is moving toward systems that imitate attributes once thought impossible for humans to possess. The desire to be present everywhere, monitor everything, and influence everyone through intelligent networks reflects a growing pursuit of godlike reach through technology. As digital authority expands and centralized control becomes more seamless, the world edges closer to an era defined by imitation power, deception, and unprecedented surveillance.
