Keep Watch!
Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

More people are turning to artificial intelligence for quick answers, but machines cannot create truth or add to the storehouse of wisdom given by God. At a recent demonstration in Washington, ChatGPT impressed its audience by producing a polished briefing on Albert Einstein as if he were being nominated for energy secretary. The system listed accomplishments, strengths, weaknesses, and even prepared questions, all with the air of authority—yet all drawn from what humanity has already written. Like a mirror reflecting what is fed into it, AI dazzles with speed but contributes nothing new.
This reliance on artificial intelligence echoes a prophetic warning: a generation content with synthetic knowledge while neglecting the Source of all wisdom. Scripture reminds us, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7). When mankind begins to treat machines as oracles, it risks choking off true understanding and exalting a counterfeit light. What appears as progress may in fact be preparation for a world primed to accept deception, where people lean on man-made intelligence instead of seeking the wisdom of God. The question is not whether AI can speak—but whether we are listening to the right voice.
