Amazon has announced that starting March 28, all Alexa voice recordings will be sent to Amazon’s cloud, eliminating the ability to process commands locally. This means users can no longer opt out of having their voice data stored and analyzed. The change is being made to support Alexa+, Amazon’s generative AI-powered voice assistant, which will offer more advanced features—but at a steep privacy cost. Those who refuse to allow Amazon to save their recordings will see critical functions, such as Voice ID, permanently disabled.
This shift has raised serious privacy concerns, especially since Amazon has a history of mishandling user data. Despite these alarming issues, Amazon is betting that Alexa+ will drive profitability, prioritizing corporate interests over consumer privacy.
This move aligns with the rise of global surveillance and control, echoing Revelation 13:16-17, where a future system monitors and regulates human activity. The push for AI-driven devices that constantly listen ties into the end-times warning of a world where privacy is eroded, and personal freedom is replaced by technological oversight. The Beast system described in prophecy requires total surveillance to enforce compliance. Are these AI devices laying the groundwork for such a reality? As Big Tech moves toward centralized control of data, believers must remain discerning and vigilant. READ MORE
