'Annihilate the Jews and Christians'

May 1, 2025

It is time to demand that religious freedom not be used as a shield to wage ideological warfare on Western soil.

A newly released compilation by MEMRI TV exposes a chilling and deeply troubling reality: imams and Islamic scholars preaching in Western mosques are openly spewing hatred against Christians, demonizing Christianity, and calling for Islamic conquest—right from the pulpits of Canada, the United States, and Europe.

The video, published on April 18, 2025, draws from MEMRI’s “Sermons by Imams in the West” project and includes sermon clips from October 7 onward. These are not stray comments or isolated incidents. They are consistent, unapologetic, and increasingly militant declarations of ideological supremacy, designed to inspire hostility, reject coexistence, and accelerate Islamization through conversion, takeover, and domination.

Christianity Under Direct Attack

In sermon after sermon, Christian beliefs are ridiculed and criminalized. Imams mock the crucifixion, denounce the concept of Jesus as the Son of God, and label Christians “pagans” and “idolaters.” One imam warns his congregation:

“Do not fall for the interfaith nonsense… claiming that the Yahud [Jews] are not kuffar and the Nasara [Christians] are not kuffar.”

Others go further, declaring that Muslims must never befriend Christians and must teach their children to “hate everything about them”—including their holidays, their dress, and their way of life.

“Teach your children to hate everything about kufr.”

The Quranic verse recited daily by Muslims during prayer (Surah Al-Fatiha) is repeatedly interpreted by these imams as a direct condemnation of Jews as the cursed and Christians as the misguided, reinforcing a binary worldview that sees Christianity not just as false, but as spiritually dangerous.

Churches Are Emptying—and Islam Is Moving In

The sermons don’t stop at theological condemnation. Many of these imams celebrate the decline of Christianity in the West as a divine opportunity for Islamic conquest. They boast of how mosques are being established in former churches—religious spaces once used for Christian worship, now repurposed for Islamic indoctrination.

“We bought three churches so far, converted them to masjids… because we have to serve the same people. One day, they will be Muslims.”

Rather than invest in new construction, Islamic organizations are purchasing churches en masse, claiming that “Allah has sent us to civilize” Westerners who have lost their religion. One imam refers to the U.S. and Europe as decaying civilizations ripe for Islamic renewal:

“Today, we bring the favor back. Turn their churches into masjids and their schools into Islamic schools. Bring the light of Islam to here.”

Preaching Supremacy and Jihad

Beyond the cultural and religious superiority complex, some imams are explicit in their calls for Islamic dominance, couched in religious obligation. One preacher rails against Christians supporting Israel, labeling them “Zionist Christians” and “traitors,” while another declares:

“Let them die in their rage. That’s what the good answers you.”

Multiple sermons include thinly veiled calls to jihad, citing the Quran and Hadith to justify hostility, rejecting integration, and urging Muslims to dominate the “disbelievers”:

“You fight in the path of Allah. You do not fear the headlines. You do not fear what is being said about you.”

Muslims are told they must never take Christians or Jews as friends or allies:

“It is not permissible for the believers to take the non-believers as helpers, friends, confidants, protectors.”

A Coordinated, Ideological Crusade

This is not spontaneous street preaching—it is a coordinated ideological campaign. As Christian youth fall away from their churches, Islamic organizations are positioning themselves to “fill the vacuum,” claiming Christianity’s decline proves its failure.

“They’re searching for something that’s more meaningful… Islam is the answer for them.”

Imams view the cultural collapse of the West not with concern, but as a moment of opportunity—a civilizational moment to “reclaim” ground for Islam. They are not interested in pluralism. They see Christian tolerance as weakness and aim to replace it with Sharia-compliant governance, beginning with the schools, mosques, and institutions.

“We are able to buy ready-to-go institutions that have been there for a long time… now it is time to be filled with Muslims.”

Wake-Up Call for the West

This MEMRI compilation is more than disturbing—it is a siren. It reveals how anti-Christian hatred is not confined to war zones or extremist pockets overseas. It is being preached—openly, unapologetically—in Western countries under the guise of religious freedom, even while these same voices call Christianity a “pagan lie” and urge the annihilation of Christians.

This is a wake-up call for Christians, Jews, secular liberals, and all defenders of Western civilization. Interfaith dialogue cannot be a one-way street. While Westerners extend a hand of friendship, these imams sharpen knives of ideological war.

If these sermons were reversed—if Christian pastors publicly called for the destruction of mosques and labeled Muslims “sons of paganism”—the global outrage would be deafening. Lawsuits, hate speech prosecutions, and media condemnation would follow instantly.

But when imams call for the annihilation of Christians and celebrate the death of Christianity in the West? Silence. Tolerance. Tax breaks.

Time to Demand Accountability

It is time to revoke tax-exempt status from mosques preaching supremacy and hate.

It is time to investigate and shut down foreign-funded religious institutions that openly attack American values.

It is time to demand that religious freedom not be used as a shield to wage ideological warfare on Western soil.

The full MEMRI compilation is not just a record of sermons. It is evidence. And unless Western societies confront it head-on, those empty churches will not stay empty—they will become the breeding grounds for an ideology that despises everything those churches once stood for.

Stay Awake. Keep Watch.
