Anti-Jewish Attacks Target Israeli Tourists

Aug 25, 2025

A disturbing rise in antisemitic incidents has left Israeli tourists feeling unsafe across Europe. In France, a resort in the southwest refused entry to 150 Israeli children ages 8 to 16, despite their valid reservation. The manager reportedly cited “personal principle” as his reasoning, a thinly veiled reference to the Gaza war. He has since been detained and faces charges of religious discrimination, while police relocated the children to another tourist site.

Meanwhile, in the Netherlands, two Israeli visitors were violently attacked at a water park, requiring hospitalization in Eindhoven. This came just days after activists illegally filmed Israeli tourists in the country. Israel’s Foreign Ministry condemned the violence, urging Dutch authorities to protect Israelis, prosecute the perpetrators, and stop further attacks. These incidents follow other alarming events in Europe, including Jewish children being removed from flights in Spain and Israeli tourists denied entry at venues in Austria, highlighting how anti-Israel hostility is fueling a surge in antisemitism across the continent.
