Arizona Supreme Court Introduces AI Reporters

The Arizona Supreme Court has launched two AI-generated reporters, named Daniel and Victoria, to enhance public understanding of court decisions. These virtual reporters specialize in delivering clear and accessible explanations of case decisions and opinions. Initially, the court faced challenges in producing timely video content to accompany case decisions and news releases. By implementing AI-generated avatars, the court achieved similar results in significantly less time, allowing for more efficient communication with the public.


Daniel and Victoria will alternate in reporting court news, with their videos available on the court's website and social media platforms. This initiative reflects the court's commitment to embracing AI technology to meet the public's informational needs. Chief Justice Ann Scott Timmer expressed enthusiasm about this development, highlighting the court's efforts to engage with the community through innovative means.
