For the second day in a row, Iran launched a ballistic missile that struck the southern Israeli city of Beersheba, lightly wounding seven people and inflicting serious structural damage. The missile landed near a cluster of apartment buildings, carving a crater into the road and igniting several vehicles in the blast radius. Firefighters responded quickly to contain the fire, while Soroka Medical Center—already impacted by an Iranian strike the day prior—received seven casualties, all of whom sustained light injuries.
The force of the explosion shattered windows, tore balconies apart, and sent debris flying through the air. Many residents, who had taken shelter in their designated safe rooms, were promptly evacuated by emergency services, including police, medics from Magen David Adom, and soldiers from the Home Front Command. MDA reported treating individuals suffering from smoke inhalation, minor injuries caused by the blast, and others afflicted by anxiety or injuries sustained while rushing to bomb shelters. The IDF also confirmed it intercepted four Iranian drones overnight and responded with a wave of airstrikes on targets inside Tehran.
Stay Awake. Keep Watch.
