CNN has named Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer, as "Game Changer of the Week," sparking controversy across social and political spheres. Mulvaney, known for documenting his gender transition on social media, has been celebrated by major corporations and media outlets despite facing backlash for his involvement in campaigns with brands like Bud Light, which resulted in significant consumer pushback. CNN's recognition of Mulvaney is seen by many as part of a broader cultural shift toward elevating transgender ideology while marginalizing traditional Christian values. "He put a girl into a boy's body," Mulvaney declared at the time. Mulvaney's mother said, "God doesn't make mistakes."
Critics argue that media institutions are intentionally pushing an agenda that distorts biblical gender roles and moral truth. This comes amid increasing efforts by activists and corporations to normalize gender fluidity, promote drag culture in schools, and silence those who uphold biblical beliefs about sexuality and identity. Many conservative commentators and Christian leaders have pointed out that this cultural shift is not just about inclusivity but an outright redefinition of truth, morality, and biological reality.
This celebration of gender confusion aligns with Romans 1:24-28, where God gives people over to a depraved mind when they exchange His truth for a lie. The normalization of transgenderism and the erasure of God’s design for male and female (Genesis 1:27) is evidence of end-times deception, where good is called evil, and evil is called good (Isaiah 5:20). These societal shifts reflect 2 Timothy 3:1-5, which describes the last days as a time when people will be lovers of self, without regard for truth.
