Congressman Claims Alien Bases Under the Sea

Oct 8, 2025

In an unexpected statement that has reignited speculation about UFOs and hidden extraterrestrial activity, Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett claimed that “five or six” underwater alien bases may exist off the U.S. coastline. Speaking in a September 17, 2025 interview with researcher Red Panda Koala, Burchett—who serves on the House Oversight Committee investigating Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs)—said naval personnel have reported chasing unidentified crafts moving “hundreds of miles an hour” beneath the ocean’s surface. He suggested these entities could have been dwelling in the ocean depths for centuries, far beyond human detection. His remarks follow a September 9 congressional hearing featuring whistleblowers who described advanced, indestructible UAPs capable of withstanding missile strikes and dividing mid-flight.

Adding to the intrigue, UFO researcher Dr. Michael Salla identified the Tongue of the Ocean near the Bahamas as a potential location for such bases, referring to it as the “Area 51 of the sea.” Citing military whistleblowers, Salla described a domed underwater city and a massive white pyramid allegedly connected to advanced civilizations or nonhuman intelligences. While these claims fascinate believers, skeptics argue that verifiable evidence—beyond testimony and anecdotal reports—is needed to transform speculation into fact. Yet as Congress presses for UFO file declassification and the oceans remain 80% unexplored, the mysteries beneath the waves continue to blur the line between science fiction and hidden reality.
