Cylindrical ‘Craft’ Spotted Passing Mars

Oct 8, 2025

New images of the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS — now passing above Mars — have reignited speculation about its true nature. NASA’s Perseverance rover captured what appears to be a massive cylindrical craft gliding across space, sparking debate among astronomers and UFO researchers alike. The color-enhanced images show a glowing green body moving toward the Sun, unlike any comet previously documented.

Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb believes the unusual shape may be a camera artifact caused by long-exposure image stacking, though he admits the object remains “extraordinary.” Others, like Australian researcher Dr. Horace Drew, insist the cylinder is real — possibly coated in nickel, similar to known spacecraft designs. Drew even likened the object to Oumuamua, the cigar-shaped visitor from 2017 that Loeb once theorized could have been an alien probe. NASA is now awaiting higher-resolution imagery from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter to settle the mystery — but for now, speculation continues that something not of this world is moving through our solar system.
