A teacher with Corinth School District is facing criminal charges after police say he used AI to create explicit videos of students. A complaint was sent to Corinth Police Department from the Mississippi Department of Education on February 27 that violated the Mississippi Educator Code of Ethics. A subpoena was issued to seize the teacher’s laptop and a thumb drive.
After reviewing the contents, several students were identified in the footage, which was AI generated video depicting the students engaged in sexually exploitative conduct.
The misuse of technology to exploit innocent individuals reflects humanity's capacity for sin and moral degradation. The Apostle Paul cautioned that "evil people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived" (2 Timothy 3:13).
