Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

The Department of Homeland Security has quietly finalized a rule that brings America closer to a fully biometric border. Starting December 26, Customs and Border Protection will have authority to photograph and identify every non-citizen entering or leaving the United States—at airports, seaports, and even “any other point of departure” DHS designates. Though citizens can technically opt out, the cameras themselves don’t discriminate; every traveler is scanned, and citizen photos are "deleted" only after confirmation. Each image is sent to DHS’s Traveler Verification Service, a cloud-linked system feeding into the nation’s massive IDENT biometric database—where non-citizen records can be stored for up to seventy-five years. What began as “security modernization” has now evolved into an unprecedented network of real-time identity tracking.
As convenience replaces consent, voluntary systems are becoming mandatory through digital coercion—longer lines for the unscanned, faster lanes for the compliant. The infrastructure for global identification is no longer theoretical; it’s operational. Revelation 13 foretells a world where no one can buy or sell—or travel—without approval from a centralized authority. With biometric lanes now defining the flow of international movement, the groundwork for that kind of surveillance-driven control is being laid in plain sight. The question is no longer if such systems will expand, but how soon they’ll connect into a global web of verification that knows your face before you ever show your passport.
