Scripture repeatedly warns of systems that centralize provision, remove personal responsibility, and place control over daily life into the hands of governing authorities (Revelation 13:16–17; Proverbs 22:7). A world where money disappears does not eliminate power—it concentrates it. If access to housing, food, healthcare, and opportunity is mediated by AI systems and government policy, then dependence replaces freedom. What is being framed as a technological utopia increasingly resembles a controlled order where buying, selling, and living hinge not on work—but on compliance. As the pace of AI acceleration quickens, believers should recognize this not merely as innovation, but as conditioning for a future system Scripture says will demand allegiance beyond economics.
