A Virginia father says he is ready to take his son’s case “all the way to the Supreme Court” after Loudoun County Public Schools punished him for expressing shock at seeing a girl in the boys’ locker room. Sean Wolfe, whose son was suspended under Title IX charges of sexual harassment and discrimination, says it is his duty as a father to defend his child against what he and his attorneys call blatant bias. His son, along with two other boys, was disciplined after reacting with surprise when a biological girl—who identifies as male—entered the boys’ locker room. Notably, the district dropped the case against a Muslim boy involved but escalated charges against Wolfe’s son and another Christian student, a move their lawyer argues shows religious discrimination.

The controversy comes amid Loudoun County’s ongoing debates over its controversial Policy 8040, which allows students to use facilities based on gender identity rather than biological sex. Critics note that the district has a troubled history of mishandling sexual misconduct cases under this policy. Wolfe’s son was given a 10-day suspension and ordered to complete a “corrective action plan,” even though one of the disciplined boys no longer attends the school. The family, supported by the Founding Freedoms Law Center and America First Legal, has vowed to appeal and, if necessary, sue. Wolfe said he is saddened by the ordeal but proud that his son is willing to stand for truth in a climate he describes as biased and hostile toward people of faith.
