Florida School Promotes ‘Witchy Wednesday’

Sep 24, 2025

A Florida school district is now under fire for airing a weekly program called “Witchy Wednesday” during morning announcements. The video series, produced by students, promotes spells, moon worship, and witchcraft rituals—essentially religious instruction in the occult, imposed without parental consent. Liberty Counsel, a legal group defending religious freedom, has issued a demand letter to Orange County schools, warning that the First Amendment does not allow government-run schools to promote one religious viewpoint while shutting out others. What has been introduced as “innocent fun” is in reality open indoctrination, ushering children into practices the Bible directly condemns (Deuteronomy 18:10–12).

The details are disturbing. One episode greeted students with, “Good morning, witches,” and proceeded to give instructions on how to set intentions during a new moon, prepare for full moon rituals, and even cast spells such as the “Light of Insight,” requiring candles, incense, and written petitions to the universe. This isn’t harmless imagination—it’s an introduction to sorcery, presented as education, and made mandatory for all students. When witchcraft is normalized in schools, it isn’t just a cultural fad; it’s spiritual deception packaged for the next generation.

Liberty Counsel has rightly demanded that students be allowed to opt out and that Christian students be given equal opportunity to share their faith. After all, if witchcraft is permitted under the guise of free expression, then biblical truth must also be allowed in the same forum. Anything less is outright hostility toward Christianity. This reveals the double standard often at work in public schools—occultism is tolerated, even celebrated, while prayer, Scripture, or the name of Jesus are pushed aside as “inappropriate.”

Revelation 18 speaks of a world intoxicated by sorceries, and 2 Timothy 3 describes a generation “lovers of self… rather than lovers of God.” What we are witnessing in Orange County is not just bad policy—it is a sign of the times, pointing toward a society being conditioned to embrace the very practices tied to the Beast system. The battlefield for children’s hearts and minds is wide open, and schools are becoming one of the enemy’s favorite platforms.
