Germany Sees Sharp Spike in Antisemitism

Dec 16, 2025

Antisemitic incidents surged dramatically in Germany in November, with a 172% increase recorded in a single month, according to the Antisemitism Research Center’s latest report. ARC documented 79 incidents nationwide, up from just 29 in October, driven largely by a disturbing vandalism spree in Hanau where one individual reportedly painted dozens of Nazi swastikas across the city. Across the globe, ARC tracked 548 antisemitic incidents in November alone—an average of more than 18 per day—marking a continued rise compared to the same period last year.

The report also highlights a troubling trend: nearly two-thirds of November’s incidents were tied to Israel-related antisemitism, underscoring how hostility toward the Jewish state continues to spill over into open hatred of Jewish people worldwide. Vandalism, threats, and acts of violence remain persistent, with Nazi symbols increasingly used to intimidate Jewish communities. For students of Bible prophecy, this accelerating pattern echoes Scripture’s warnings of resurging Jew-hatred in the last days, reminding us that antisemitism is not merely political or cultural—but deeply spiritual in nature.
