Hamas has rejected all diplomatic efforts to release the remaining Israeli hostages, prompting Israel to launch a renewed military campaign in Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz declared that Hamas’ refusal to negotiate left Israel with no choice but to escalate military operations. Israeli fighter jets carried out targeted strikes on Hamas strongholds, eliminating high-ranking terrorists. Intelligence reports confirm that Hamas exploited the ceasefire to rebuild its military, recruit 30,000 new fighters, and prepare for fresh attacks on Israeli civilians.
The Trump administration fully supports Israel’s response, with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stating that the U.S. was consulted before the attacks and warning that “all hell will break loose” if Hamas continues its terrorism. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is prepared to escalate military action until Hamas is dismantled and the hostages are freed. Meanwhile, international criticism of Israel remains fueled by misinformation, with anti-Zionist movements openly calling for the destruction of Israel. Experts warn that anti-Zionism is a disguise for antisemitism, as Hamas’ mantra “From the River to the Sea” makes clear its goal of eliminating the Jewish state.
This conflict underscores Zechariah 12:3, where God declares that Jerusalem will become a burdensome stone for all nations. The hatred against Israel is spiritual in nature, fulfilling Psalm 83:4, where Israel’s enemies say, “Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more.” As wars and rumors of war increase (Matthew 24:6-8), it is evident that the world is moving closer to the prophesied final conflicts.
