Keep Watch!
Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

A quiet New Mexico community was thrust into chaos after three people were found dead inside a Mountainair residence and 18 first responders were exposed to an unidentified substance during what initially appeared to be a suspected overdose call. Authorities say officers arrived Wednesday morning to discover four unresponsive individuals inside the home. Three were pronounced dead at the scene while the fourth occupant, along with exposed emergency personnel, was rushed to the University of New Mexico Hospital for quarantine and monitoring. Several first responders reportedly experienced symptoms including dizziness and nausea, with two remaining in serious condition.
Hazmat teams from Albuquerque Fire Rescue are now working to identify the mysterious substance as investigators continue to secure the scene behind a controlled perimeter. Officials currently believe the material may spread through physical contact rather than through the air, though the exact cause remains unknown. Local authorities stated the incident does not appear to involve natural gas or carbon monoxide, while early indications point toward narcotics as a possible factor. The event has raised growing concern about the increasing danger faced by first responders as synthetic drugs, chemical agents, and unknown substances become more widespread and unpredictable.
