Hegseth commended the Israeli military for its precision in striking Iran’s nuclear program and highlighted the “skill, bravery, and courage” of both Israeli forces and U.S. pilots who took part in the operation, known as Operation Rising Lion. He emphasized that President Trump had given Iran a 60-day window for negotiations before authorizing the mission, underscoring the U.S.'s resolve in the face of escalating threats.

Netanyahu responded by thanking the U.S. for its partnership, specifically recognizing U.S. Central Command and Defense Secretary Hegseth for their unwavering support. He noted that the B-2 pilots and Israeli forces “sent a message to the world,” one that he believes Iran and the entire Middle East noticed. Expressing deep appreciation, Netanyahu called the joint operation a powerful display of strength and unity between the two nations. “You have the gratitude of the people of Israel, the State of Israel, and I think many, many others around the world,” he concluded.
