The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in coordination with the Shin Bet, released the names of 21 senior Islamic Jihad operatives recently eliminated in Gaza as part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts. These strikes, carried out over the last six months by the IDF Southern Command with support from the Air Force and Intelligence Directorate, have focused on dismantling the group’s leadership and military infrastructure. Hundreds of operatives have been targeted, including high-ranking commanders and weapons specialists.

Among those identified were Muhammad Rajiwan Ramchan Mushtaha, head of military training in northern Gaza; Amir Hisham Faiz Wadi, sniper unit commander in Khan Yunis; and Jamal Mahmoud Salem Maamar, leader of Rafah’s artillery sector. Additional figures included brigade and sector commanders, as well as weapons experts like Ahmad Ziad Qasem Qadi and Fuad Shaker Diab Ghnam. Others were directly linked to attacks on IDF forces, such as Iyhab Basem Yousef Abu Alkhir, a sniper cell leader. The IDF stressed that these precise operations, rooted in extensive intelligence, are designed to disrupt terror command networks and prevent future assaults on Israel.
