Iran Claims Hack of Israel’s Nuclear Program

Sep 25, 2025

Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib claimed Wednesday that Tehran had hacked into Israeli facilities and obtained “millions of pages” of classified files tied to Israel’s nuclear program. In a televised address, he alleged the documents detail both past and current weapons projects, modernization efforts for older systems, and supposed joint ventures with the U.S. and European states. Khatib further asserted that the data revealed the “entire management structure” of Israel’s nuclear program, including highly sensitive locations.

He went on to claim the files list 189 Israeli nuclear and military experts, complete with personal details, addresses, and professional connections, as well as American and European scientists allegedly linked to these projects. According to Khatib, some of this intelligence was used to target facilities during the war, and he alleged that Israeli staff and citizens had collaborated with Iran out of either greed or hatred for Israel’s leadership. However, Iran has offered no evidence for these sweeping claims, and Israel has yet to issue an official response.
