As tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States continue to escalate, a senior Iranian military adviser has warned that the Islamic Republic is prepared for a prolonged conflict lasting up to a decade. General Ebrahim Jabari, a senior adviser within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that Iran has been preparing for a long-term war and remains undeterred by recent Israeli and American strikes on its military infrastructure. According to Jabari, Iran’s missile production continues despite the damage inflicted during recent operations, and the regime’s arsenal remains stocked with both missiles and drones.

Jabari also suggested that Iran has only begun to reveal its capabilities. In an interview with regional media, he claimed that the missiles launched so far represent merely an opening phase of the conflict, intended to weaken Israel’s air defense systems. He further hinted that the regime possesses additional advanced weapons that have not yet been deployed but could be introduced if the war expands. While Israeli forces continue targeting Iranian military assets, Tehran is attempting to project resilience and readiness for an extended confrontation reminiscent of the eight-year Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s.
