State media reported that aircraft have already conducted their first seeding flight over the Urmia Lake basin—once Iran’s largest lake, now reduced to a sprawling salt bed due to years of water mismanagement, climate stress, and rapid desertification. Additional operations are planned over East and West Azerbaijan as the regime scrambles to slow the collapse of its water system. Earlier this year, Iran’s president even issued a stunning warning: if the crisis continues, Tehran itself may need to be evacuated. It’s a dramatic declaration from a government facing internal unrest, economic decay, and now ecological disaster.

Cloud seeding involves releasing silver iodide and salt particles into clouds to trigger rainfall—an experimental method nations increasingly turn to as weather patterns worsen globally. But artificial manipulation of the skies aligns with a broader prophetic picture: a world racing toward environmental upheaval, geopolitical instability, and unprecedented attempts to control nature rather than repent before the Creator who commands it (Amos 4:7–8).
