A disturbing revelation out of London has exposed how far Tehran’s ideological reach now extends into the West. Video footage from the Islamic Republic of Iran School in Maida Vale shows British children singing “Hail, Commander,” an anthem tied directly to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The lyrics glorify loyalty to Iran’s supreme leader and celebrate a messianic figure whose arrival, in Shiite extremist theology, is linked to the slaughter of Jews. What was once dismissed as a failing private school has now emerged as a conduit for Iranian regime propaganda, raising urgent questions about national security, safeguarding, and foreign ideological influence inside the UK.
This exposure did not happen in a vacuum. The school has been rated “inadequate” by Ofsted for nearly a decade, with inspectors repeatedly warning of serious safeguarding failures, weak leadership, and an inability to protect children from harmful material. The latest reports describe explicit adult content placed alongside books for young children, underscoring a pattern of negligence. Experts warn that the chanting seen in the video is not cultural expression but deliberate indoctrination. The song references the Mahdi’s mythical army and conditions children to view themselves as future soldiers in a redemptive global conflict—language long used by the Iranian regime to radicalize youth both inside and outside Iran.
