Iran's Chemical Missiles Threat

Feb 24, 2026

Iran is not only racing toward nuclear capability—it is reportedly producing ballistic missiles equipped with chemical and biological warheads. Israeli military adviser Amir Avivi confirmed that Israel’s defense establishment is deeply concerned about Tehran’s unconventional weapons programs and is actively identifying targets that would need to be neutralized in any potential strike. According to Avivi, Iran has the capacity to deploy chemical payloads via advanced ballistic systems—capabilities he described as “very, very dangerous.” Intelligence assessments have long suggested Iran’s regime is experimenting with chemical agents, and recent reports indicate Tehran believes unconventional weapons could be justified in an “existential threat.”

This development comes as tensions escalate over Iran’s nuclear ambitions. U.S. officials warn that Tehran may be dangerously close to weapons-grade nuclear material, while Israeli officials emphasize that missile infrastructure—including chemical and biological capabilities—must be addressed in any confrontation. Reports of Iranian forces allegedly deploying unknown chemical substances during domestic crackdowns only intensify concerns. The regime continues producing sophisticated missiles “around the clock,” signaling preparation not just for deterrence, but for potential escalation.
