Authorities say scammers have increasingly targeted not only the elderly but also younger adults, with nearly half of fraud victims in recent years falling below the age of 65.
The digital police chief demonstrates how criminals manipulate victims through online conversations, warning viewers that legitimate officers do not display badges, warrants, or conduct arrests through the internet. While the stated purpose of AIko is public education, the development represents another step in the growing integration of artificial intelligence into positions of authority and public trust.
