Leaked WhatsApp messages have exposed disturbing anti-Jewish rhetoric among activists linked to a faction inside Britain’s Green Party. In the messages, Jewish people were described as “an abomination to this planet,” while others accused Jews collectively of murdering, bombing, and starving children. Additional comments reportedly defended referring to protesters simply as Jews rather than distinguishing political views or ideologies. The language has sparked outrage because of its sweeping hatred and echoes of rhetoric once heard in Europe’s darkest years.
The leaked exchanges also included claims that an arson attack targeting ambulances run by a Jewish charity in north London may have been a “false flag” operation carried out by Jews themselves. Four ambulances connected to the Jewish community were damaged in the attack. A local Green council candidate reportedly amplified similar claims online, suggesting without evidence that those arrested were likely white or Jewish. The scandal has intensified concerns that anti-Israel activism in some circles is crossing into outright antisemitism.
This is another sobering sign of the ancient hatred that repeatedly rises against the Jewish people. Scripture warned that Jerusalem and the descendants of Israel would remain a point of controversy among the nations. What begins as political anger often reveals something deeper and darker beneath the surface. In an age that speaks constantly of tolerance, hostility toward Jews continues to re-emerge in familiar forms, reminding believers that spiritual realities often drive what headlines only partially explain.
