Jihadist Doctrine & Mass Migration

Jan 20, 2026

A sobering warning is emerging from investigative reporting that challenges the popular narrative surrounding mass migration. According to new research, jihadist movements—most notably the Muslim Brotherhood and aligned Islamist networks—do not view immigration as a humanitarian exercise, but as a strategic tool. Drawing from their own writings and doctrine, these movements frame migration as hijrah—a religious obligation designed to penetrate, influence, and ultimately reshape host societies from within. This is not conjecture, but ideology openly articulated and deliberately applied in the modern West.

The doctrine itself traces back to Islam’s earliest expansion. The hijrah of Muhammad from Mecca to Medina marked the transformation from a religious figure into a political and military leader—so significant that the Islamic calendar begins with that event. Modern jihadist thinkers interpret this precedent as a template: migration precedes conquest, cultural dominance, and governance. Hadith literature cited by these movements reinforces the idea that migration continues until a land is “won over.” Schweizer documents how this theology is operationalized today, including the use of religious worker visa programs that allow foreign-trained imams—some with extremist views—to establish long-term ideological influence inside the United States.

Scripture repeatedly warns of infiltration, deception, and subversion in the last days—where threats arise not merely from armies, but from ideas and belief systems that work slowly and persistently from within (Matthew 24:4–5; 2 Corinthians 11:13–15). The weaponization of migration as a means of ideological conquest aligns with the growing convergence of religious, political, and cultural power structures Scripture says will characterize the end times. This is not about ethnicity or compassion—but discernment. What is unfolding is a clash of worldviews, and the Church must remain awake, grounded in truth, and clear-eyed about the spiritual dimensions of what many dismiss as merely political policy.
