For the first time, leaders from the Yesha Council (Judea and Samaria Council) have made an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), signaling a major geopolitical shift in the region. The delegation, led by Yisrael Gantz and Eliram Azoulay, met with government officials, business leaders, and security experts to discuss economic cooperation, security threats, and diplomatic ties. They also attended an Iftar dinner at the official residence of Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuami, a key UAE political figure.
The Yesha Council leaders emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in strengthening Jewish settlements and countering shared threats such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran-backed forces. Azoulay noted that UAE officials displayed strong support for Israel’s fight against Palestinian terrorism, expressing a willingness to challenge the Palestinian Authority’s anti-Israel agenda. This historic visit is being framed as part of a "New World Order"—a shift in Middle Eastern alliances that was unthinkable just a few years ago.
