US strikes Iran for 9th night, confirms American servicemember killed in Iraq
US forces struck Iran for a ninth consecutive day on Monday as the number of confirmed American military deaths in the renewed fighting rose to three, and concerns grew over shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, which the Trump administration accused the Islamic Republic of seeking to control “as leverage against the world.” In a statement, US Central Command said the strikes were aimed at “degrading” Iran’s ability to attack commercial vessels in the strait’s vital shipping lanes, targeting military command centers, air defense and coastal surveillance sites, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and communications networks. “The US military is holding Iran accountable at the commander in chief’s direction,” said Central Command. “CENTCOM forces remain highly vigilant, focused, lethal, and ready.”
Australia synagogues forced to cancel services, divert funds to cover security costs
Australian synagogues have been forced to cancel services and divert funds in order to cover security costs, Jewish community representatives told the Royal Commission on Monday. The fifth Hearing Block, which began on Monday, focuses on Jewish security concerns. Counsel assisting Richard Lancaster told the commission that synagogues have canceled Friday night services because they “couldn’t afford to pay a guard and felt that they could not discharge their duty of care to congregants without one.” “The commission has received submissions from very many synagogues around Australia,” said Lancaster. “A constant theme is the organizational time, energy, and money that has to be committed to security.” “This underscores the difficulty that members of the Jewish community presently face: if they close themselves off for security reasons, they may be unfairly criticized as deliberately insular, but without the barriers they wish they did not need, they may be left unduly exposed.”
IMMORTAL TYRANT: Putin’s £20billion quest to live forever from deer blood baths & mutant strawberries to ‘Frankenstein’ lair experiments
The ageing tyrant, 73, is trying to achieve immortality through a £20billion plan involving his daughter, printed pig’s organs, a secretive mountain lair and mutant “youth-extending” strawberries. Putin, who believes in rejuvenating deer blood baths, has ordered state scientists and doctors to make human longevity a national priority. In September 2025, Putin and his two despot pals Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-un were caught on a hot mic publicly discussing immortality.
EU and Japan Show Digital Identity Wallets Can Exchange Credentials Across Their Borders
The European Union and Japan have successfully demonstrated that their independently developed digital identity wallets can securely issue, store, and verify each other’s digital credentials across international borders. Using shared technical standards rather than a single global platform, the pilot proved that digital identities can function seamlessly between different legal and technological systems, with officials now focused primarily on establishing mutual legal recognition. This illustrates how interoperable digital identity systems are laying the technological groundwork for the kind of worldwide infrastructure that a Revelation 13 system would require.
China Is Cracking Down on AI Companions Because Not Enough Babies Are Being Born
Earlier this week, the Chinese government implemented sweeping new regulations aimed at curbing human “emotional dependence” on AI chatbots. These regulations are especially targeted at emotive AI companions, or bots expressly designed to embody human-like personas. One of Beijing’s core motivations for this crackdown, as reported by The Wall Street Journal and The Economist, are worries over the nation’s declining birthrates — and the fear that falling in love with agreeable, always-on robots will prevent people from finding human partners and having children.
‘Dr. Doom’ Nouriel Roubini says we’re headed for universal basic income or ‘some form of socialism’ as AI revolutionizes work—he calls that optimistic
In an interview on Bloomberg TV on Friday, Roubini was asked about ways to fix Social Security, as the trust fund that helps fund benefits is due to run out of money by 2032. He replied that a large chunk of the population will be replaced by AI and robots in the next 20-25 years, so raising the retirement age will not be sufficient. “Eventually, we need some form of universal basic income for everybody while they work and once they retire,” Roubini added. “We’re already on the way.”
The risk of weather data sabotage is rising
Every morning, airline dispatchers, grid operators, and farmers around the world make decisions based on the same thing: a weather forecast. While these forecasts are something that most people glance at for two seconds, weather predictions influence major strategic decisions in many industries, with real money, livelihoods, and even actual lives at stake. Farmers use them to determine which crop variety to sow, when to fertilize, how much to invest in irrigation infrastructure, and how long livestock should graze. Utilities use them to decide where to build solar and wind farms, as well as how to price wholesale electricity. Predictions are used to warn people about extreme weather and to trigger emergency response measures. More recently, weather predictions have become relevant for an emerging industry: prediction markets, where people bet money on all kinds of real-world events, including the weather. However, the temptation to manipulate weather data to get an edge in these markets, combined with a collective move toward data-driven AI weather forecasting, is starting to put the accuracy of weather predictions at risk. These risks are relatively manageable for now, but as experts in the field, we can foresee scenarios where they snowball into far bigger, more systemic problems.
Charred wooden beams from First Temple destruction found in Jerusalem’s City of David
Days before the Jewish holiday of Tisha B’av, which commemorates the destruction of the temples in Jerusalem, charred wooden beams testifying to this very event were revealed to have been found by the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA). IAA announced on Monday that the beams, which were burnt during the destruction of the First Temple in 586 BC, were uncovered during excavations by the Israel Antiquities Authority and Tel Aviv University in Jerusalem. The wooden beams were miraculously preserved for approximately 2,600 years by plaster that melted from the walls of the building, sealing the burnt wood beneath it. The building collapsed during the intense fire that destroyed the temple. The remarkable finding was discovered at a dig in the Givati Parking Lot, the veritable treasure trove located between the City of David, the ancient site of Jerusalem, and the relatively newer “Old City” of today.
The vessels of the Second Temple never disappeared, claims Rabbi Harry Moskoff

Rabbi Harry Moskoff argues that the vessels from the Second Temple—including the menorah and other sacred objects—were never permanently lost. Instead, he believes they were moved through history and that many still exist today.

He makes several major claims:

  • Historical trail: He says ancient sources such as Flavius Josephus and Procopius of Caesarea document the movement of the Temple vessels from Jerusalem to Rome, then to Carthage, Constantinople, and eventually back to Jerusalem during the reign of Emperor Justinian.

  • A hidden cave near Jerusalem: Moskoff recounts a story from the early 1900s about a Jewish farmer who allegedly discovered a cave containing Temple artifacts. He says he believes he has identified the location of that cave and is preparing geological surveys with the knowledge of the Israel Antiquities Authority.

  • Church of St. Anne: He repeats an anecdote about a Hebrew University professor who supposedly stumbled upon a hidden chamber beneath the church containing objects with Hebrew inscriptions that the professor believed were Temple vessels.

  • The Vatican: Moskoff says he believes the Vatican possesses many Temple artifacts in underground storage. He claims Israeli authorities likely know what is there, although he presents no publicly verifiable evidence for this assertion.

  • The Ark of the Covenant: He argues the Ark never left the Temple Mount and remains hidden in a chamber beneath the mount, southwest of the Dome of the Rock.

  • Future Temple Mount developments: He suggests that discussions surrounding the Abraham Accords could eventually lead to permission for a Jewish synagogue on the Temple Mount.

Does he know where these vessels are located?
  1. He believes he knows where a cave containing Temple artifacts is located.

    • He says he personally identified the site through historical accounts and family testimony.

    • However, he does not claim the cave has been excavated or that the vessels have been recovered.

  2. He says he is almost certain the menorah is in the Vatican.

    • His statement that the menorah is “almost a hundred percent” in the Vatican is presented as his conclusion, not as evidence based on direct access.

    • The evidence he offers consists largely of historical tradition, secondhand testimony, and his own research rather than publicly documented archaeological proof.

  3. He believes smaller Temple vessels remain in Jerusalem.

    • Again, these are based on historical accounts and anecdotes rather than confirmed discoveries.

Moskoff is not claiming that he has physically seen and verified the Temple vessels himself. Rather, he is arguing that:

  • the vessels still exist

  • many are likely in the Vatican

  • others may remain hidden in caves or beneath churches in Jerusalem

  • and he believes he has identified locations worthy of investigation
