Korean Christians Rally in Seoul for Israel

Oct 23, 2025

Hundreds of Korean Christians gathered in central Seoul to boldly declare “Am Israel Chai”—“The People of Israel Live”—marking the second anniversary of the war with Hamas. The crowd, filled with worship, song, and intercession, assembled near the Israeli Embassy to publicly express solidarity with the Jewish state. Led by Pastor Kim Dong-gu and supported by Brad TV, a Christian media outlet focused on Israel, the event brought together numerous congregations under one purpose: to stand with God’s covenant people amid global hostility. The coalition was joined by National Solidarity for Israel, a group that has faithfully rallied every weekend since the war began, led by Pastor Jeon Geon-guk, who started alone with a picket sign before others joined his stand for truth.

What began as one man’s lonely protest has now become a movement of intercession and bold witness throughout Seoul. Many in the Korean Church see this as a spiritual call to awaken believers to discernment regarding Israel’s biblical significance. Organizers urged Christians worldwide to pray that God would open the eyes of the Church in Korea—so that believers would not be deceived by propaganda, but instead see Israel through God’s covenant heart. As persecution and misinformation rise globally, these Korean believers are declaring through faith and action that the God of Israel still reigns, and His promises remain unbroken.
