Kushner Meets Netanyahu for Gaza Peace Plan

Nov 10, 2025

Senior advisor and presidential envoy Jared Kushner arrived in Israel Sunday for high-level discussions with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the implementation of President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan to end the two-year Gaza war. The plan, unveiled in September, began with a ceasefire on October 10 and has since resulted in the release of 20 hostages and the return of 24 bodies. A multinational peacekeeping force is expected to assume gradual security control of Gaza from the IDF, though Israel has firmly rejected Turkish participation in the operation. Kushner—joined by Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, who co-authored the plan—will meet Netanyahu on Monday as both sides attempt to balance humanitarian concerns with Israel’s security imperatives.

The renewed U.S. involvement underscores the accelerating push toward regional normalization under the banner of peace and stability—goals that carry both political promise and prophetic weight. The Abraham Accords, revived and expanded under Trump’s second term, have redefined Middle Eastern alliances while drawing the world’s attention back to Jerusalem, the city Zechariah called “a heavy stone for all nations.” Efforts to enforce lasting peace through diplomatic engineering may appear successful for a time, yet Scripture reminds us that true peace will only come through the Prince of Peace. As world leaders negotiate over Gaza’s fate, history is once again converging where it began—in the land of Israel.
