French President Emmanuel Macron held a conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to address two of the world's most volatile crises: the war in Gaza and the conflict in Ukraine. Both leaders condemned Israel’s renewed airstrikes in Gaza and agreed to co-chair a conference promoting a two-state solution, aiming to revive peace negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians.
Macron also praised the Saudi-led Jeddah initiative for fostering Ukraine-Russia peace talks, signaling deeper French-Saudi collaboration on global diplomacy. The timing of this high-level engagement reflects mounting international concern over the humanitarian toll and instability created by prolonged wars in both regions.
These efforts align with ongoing prophetic patterns of international pressure on Israel and increasing calls for dividing the land (Joel 3:2). I've said it before and I'll say it again, MBS and Saudi Arabia have become key player in geopolitics, not only in the Middle East, but worldwide.
