Sudan’s Darfur region has descended into chaos as reports emerge of mass executions following the Rapid Support Forces’ (RSF) capture of El-Fasher, the regional capital. Over 2,000 unarmed civilians have allegedly been executed in recent days, according to new findings from Yale University’s Humanitarian Research Lab. Satellite imagery and eyewitness videos reveal scenes of unimaginable brutality—civilians lined up and shot at point-blank range, homes burned, and neighborhoods destroyed. Yale’s report calls the RSF’s campaign a “systematic and deliberate ethnic cleansing” targeting non-Arab populations.
