Mass Executions Reported in Sudan

Oct 29, 2025

Sudan’s Darfur region has descended into chaos as reports emerge of mass executions following the Rapid Support Forces’ (RSF) capture of El-Fasher, the regional capital. Over 2,000 unarmed civilians have allegedly been executed in recent days, according to new findings from Yale University’s Humanitarian Research Lab. Satellite imagery and eyewitness videos reveal scenes of unimaginable brutality—civilians lined up and shot at point-blank range, homes burned, and neighborhoods destroyed. Yale’s report calls the RSF’s campaign a “systematic and deliberate ethnic cleansing” targeting non-Arab populations. The United Nations has issued an urgent warning, saying the risk of genocide is now “extremely high.”

The RSF’s claim of having “liberated” the city stands in chilling contrast to the bloodshed on the ground. The Sudanese Armed Forces have retreated, leaving civilians trapped under RSF rule as door-to-door killings, looting, and arrests continue. The conflict between General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan’s military and RSF commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti) has now plunged Sudan into one of the worst humanitarian crises of the 21st century. Prophetically, this echoes Christ’s warning of “wars and rumors of wars” and the rise of lawlessness before His return (Matthew 24:6,12). As nations unravel and violence spreads unchecked, the world edges closer to the conditions Scripture foretells—a time of great tribulation and human cruelty that cries out for divine justice.
