The event, titled the “Mother Daughter Holy Spirit Party,” was held in support of the Trans Justice Funding Project. Naomi and Kai appeared in matching gold outfits, with Kai also wearing knee-high white leather boots, underscoring the pair's public support for transgender advocacy following Kai’s recent announcement of transitioning.
Kai's father, Liev Schreiber, acknowledged the moment as both meaningful and expected, saying it was “profound” yet not surprising due to Kai’s long-standing feminine expression. He emphasized that the issue goes beyond visibility, noting the critical lack of resources and familial support for many in the trans community. Kai joins a growing list of celebrity children who identify as transgender or non-binary, a trend that includes the families of high-profile figures such as Cher, Jamie Lee Curtis, Charlize Theron, and Robert De Niro.
