MSA Videos Mock Oct. 7 Kidnappings

Dec 4, 2025

Two Virginia high schools are under fire after their Muslim Students Association (MSA) chapters produced recruitment videos that mimic abductions—scenes disturbingly similar to Hamas’ October 7 kidnappings. In the Langley High School video, a hijab-wearing student asks a peer if he plans to attend an MSA meeting. When he refuses, male students rush in, hood him with a black cloth, and throw him into the trunk of a car as ethnic music plays. A similar but even more alarming video posted by Thomas Jefferson High School shows students in keffiyehs—symbols widely associated with anti-Israel extremism—kidnapping classmates who decline to attend the club. One student in the video even wears a sweatshirt depicting all of Israel as “Palestine,” underscoring the political message behind the performance.

Jewish students and parents were horrified, interpreting the videos as mocking the real kidnappings and murders Hamas carried out against Israeli civilians. School administrators condemned the videos and issued disciplinary actions, but the incident is now part of a broader federal investigation into Fairfax County Public Schools over alleged failures to protect Jewish students from antisemitic harassment. Critics warn that the videos reveal deeper cultural attitudes: coercion, intimidation, and the glorification of violence against dissenters—ideas that align disturbingly well with radical Islamist ideology. While CAIR defended the students and dismissed the outrage as “racist tropes,” the reality is unmistakable: these videos normalize brutality in America’s schools at a time when antisemitism is exploding, and they mirror a worldview where disagreement is met not with debate, but with force.
