A sweeping new report is raising alarms over what researchers describe as a deeply embedded network of organizations aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood operating throughout Canadian government, politics, universities, charities, and civil society. The roughly 200-page study from the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) argues that the concern is not simply isolated extremist voices, but a strategy of what researchers call “entryism”—gaining legitimacy and influence by working within established Western institutions. The report alleges that Brotherhood-aligned networks have acquired institutional access, public funding, political influence, and protection from scrutiny while operating through organizations that outwardly function as charities, advocacy groups, educational institutions, and community organizations. ISGAP also warns that the situation in Canada could have broader implications for the United States and other Western democracies.
