Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed that Iran attempted to assassinate one of his children, disclosing information that had previously been prohibited from publication. Speaking with Israel’s Channel 14, Netanyahu said Iran had specifically targeted one of his children and attempted to murder them, though he declined to provide details about the intelligence behind the alleged plot. Netanyahu used the revelation to defend the extensive security surrounding his family, arguing that the protection is not a luxury but a necessity in light of genuine threats. Israeli security officials have determined that Netanyahu and members of his family face a high threat level because of Iranian desires for retaliation following the deaths of senior Iranian officials during the war.
