Nvidia Bets Big on Israel's AI Future

Dec 18, 2025

Nvidia has announced plans to invest roughly $1.5 billion in building Israel’s largest-ever server farm, reinforcing the country’s growing role as a global hub for artificial intelligence. The massive data center, slated for construction in the Mevo Carmel Science and Industry Park beginning in 2027, will house Nvidia’s advanced Blackwell processors and demand an estimated 64 megawatts of power. Once operational around 2031, the facility is expected to become Nvidia’s largest laboratory center outside the United States and one of the most significant AI data centers in the Middle East, underscoring Israel’s reputation as the “Start-Up Nation.”

The investment comes despite ongoing regional instability and reflects Nvidia’s long-term confidence in Israel’s tech ecosystem. Company leaders have repeatedly emphasized that some of Nvidia’s most important AI innovations originated in Israel and that the nation’s engineers remain central to the company’s future. Israel’s continued prominence in cutting-edge technology aligns with its growing centrality on the world stage—economically, strategically, and geopolitically. As global systems increasingly depend on AI infrastructure, developments like this highlight how Israel remains deeply woven into the architecture of the modern—and emerging—world order.
