NYC Targets Toddlers for Ideology

Jan 12, 2026

New York City has just given us a revealing snapshot of where cultural influence is headed. Children’s YouTube star Ms. Rachel appeared alongside socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani to promote a new government-run childcare program for two-year-olds. Smiling, singing, and reading to toddlers, the duo framed the initiative as compassionate and inclusive. But beneath the bright colors and nursery rhymes lies a more sobering reality: the state is positioning itself as the primary influence in the earliest stages of a child’s moral and ideological formation.

This is not simply about daycare—it is about control of the narrative. By pairing a beloved media personality with a political agenda, government power and cultural programming merge into one seamless pipeline. Parents are told this is about affordability and access, yet it places the worldview-shaping years of a child’s life directly into the hands of bureaucrats and political activists. When education, media, and government move in lockstep, the family unit is no longer the primary discipler—the state is.

From a biblical and prophetic perspective, this trend aligns with Scripture’s warning that in the last days truth would be replaced with engineered belief systems (2 Timothy 3:1–5). Children are always the first target of ideological revolutions, because whoever shapes the next generation controls the future. Revelation describes a coming system that requires total allegiance, not just in commerce but in thought and identity. When governments begin embedding ideology into childhood itself, they are laying the groundwork for a society trained to accept centralized authority over family, faith, and truth. This is not about preschool—it is about preparing hearts for a world where the state becomes god.
