OpenAI Expands Stargate AI Data Centers

Sep 24, 2025

OpenAI has unveiled plans to build five massive new AI data centers under its Stargate project, partnering with Oracle and SoftBank to supercharge the infrastructure of artificial intelligence. These facilities will add to an already staggering footprint, bringing Stargate’s projected capacity to seven gigawatts — enough energy to power more than five million homes. Sites are slated for Texas, New Mexico, Ohio, and the Midwest, with three developed by Oracle and two by SoftBank. On the surface, this expansion is being celebrated as progress toward the “next era of intelligence,” but to those watching through a prophetic lens, it looks like the scaffolding of a digital empire that could easily be turned toward global control.

The scale of these AI hubs is not just about efficiency; it is about dominance. Revelation 13 speaks of a system that will monitor and control all buying and selling, and projects like Stargate reveal how such infrastructure could be put in place. With centralized data centers capable of managing vast amounts of information, AI becomes the nervous system of a coming Beast System—connecting surveillance, digital ID, commerce, and even military decision-making. What is presented as innovation for human advancement may well be preparing the architecture for prophetic fulfillment.
