Stay Awake!

Keep Watch!
Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

Initiatives like Boise’s interfaith homeless shelter, Conservative Judaism’s first clergy involvement in inter‑faith weddings, Catholic and other faith leaders uniting against ICE funding, and LDS participation in rainforest protection in Peru, all signal a troubling convergence of religious boundaries. Revelation 17 warns against a harlot that unites the world’s spiritual authorities under a single, apostate system. By prioritizing unity over doctrinal fidelity, these movements echo the harlot’s ecumenical embrace—placing emphasis on social causes and inclusive acts over allegiance to Christ’s exclusive claims.
Scripture calls believers to “come out from among them and be separate” (2 Cor 6:17). Yet the allure of global religious cooperation often masks a deeper drift: away from biblical truth and toward human-centered ethics. While caring for the needy or the environment are commendable, when these causes supplant gospel purity, they become gateways to a religious syncretism reminiscent of Revelation 17’s harlot. True faith maintains its distinctions; it loves justice and mercy while holding fast to the truth of Christ alone—not blending into a universal religion that ultimately despises Him.
Stay Awake. Keep Watch.
