A Jewish artist has come forward with disturbing claims of a violent plot by far-left activists to target thousands of Israelis attending this year’s Boom Festival, scheduled for July 17–24 in Idanha-a-Nova, Portugal. The artist, using the pseudonym Sarah, told Israel’s Kan News that she was unknowingly added to a WhatsApp group called “Left wing argument,” where detailed plans were discussed to poison and assault Israelis at the festival. Sarah shared screenshots of messages in which members talked about urinating in food, torching tents, spiking drugs with toxic substances like strychnine, and generally creating chaos for attendees — particularly those believed to be IDF veterans. One group member grotesquely referred to themselves as a “moral arsonist” and justified poisoning Israelis with the lie that they were war criminals.
Sarah, who listened to group calls and read ongoing messages, said she was appalled by the level of hatred and incitement, especially in light of Hamas’s October 7th massacre. Despite alerting both festival organizers and Portuguese police, she claims little action has been taken. She has since left Portugal due to what she described as growing antisemitism, citing personal experiences of harassment for wearing Jewish symbols in public.
Such rising hatred against the Jewish people echoes prophetic warnings in Zechariah 12:2-3 and Revelation 12:13, pointing to an intensifying global hostility in the last days. As antisemitism escalates under the guise of activism, believers must remain watchful, vocal, and prayerful in defense of truth, justice, and God's covenant people.
