Report: Israel Aims to Topple Iran Regime

Nov 13, 2025

A new report from Israel’s public broadcaster, Kan, claims Jerusalem has set an unprecedented strategic goal: to undermine and ultimately topple the Iranian regime by the end of President Donald Trump’s second term in January 2029. According to a senior Israeli official speaking anonymously, Israel believes the Islamic Republic is racing to rebuild its ballistic missile stockpile after suffering massive losses during the 12-day war in June. Those strikes—combined with Israel’s destruction of missile depots, nuclear facilities, and even direct hits on Iran’s leadership—left Tehran weakened but not deterred. Analysts warn that Iran’s new objective is to overwhelm Israeli defenses with a barrage of as many as 2,000 missiles at once, a staggering escalation compared to the 500 fired during last year’s conflict. With Iran preparing aggressively for the next round, Israeli officials say they see “no reason” not to resume the confrontation if necessary.

If renewed war erupts, Israel’s response will be “much more aggressive” than before, according to a Channel 13 security source. The June campaign demonstrated Israel’s willingness to strike deep inside Iran, targeting not only military assets but also national infrastructure and state media outlets. Even Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was lightly injured in one such strike. The growing likelihood of direct confrontation between Israel and Iran—biblical Persia—brings significant prophetic weight. Scripture describes a future in which regional tensions escalate and hostile nations move against Israel, setting the stage for larger end-times conflicts. Whether these latest developments lead to regime change in Tehran or ignite a broader war, one thing is clear: the Middle East is hurtling toward a decisive moment in both geopolitical and prophetic history.
