Report: Russia Gives Iran Israel Target List

Apr 7, 2026

A troubling report suggests that Russia has provided Iran with a detailed list of critical energy infrastructure targets within Israel, potentially escalating tensions in an already volatile region. According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the intelligence includes between 50 and 55 sites tied to Israel’s energy grid. These locations reportedly focus on civilian infrastructure, raising concerns about the potential for widespread disruption should retaliatory strikes occur.

The information is said to categorize targets based on strategic importance, including major production facilities, urban and industrial energy hubs, and localized infrastructure nodes. Zelenskyy also claimed that Russia is sharing not only intelligence but also operational knowledge gained from its ongoing war in Ukraine, effectively equipping Iran with both the targets and the tactics needed to carry out sophisticated attacks. This development signals a deepening alignment between Russia and Iran, particularly in matters involving regional conflict dynamics.

Israel’s unique position as an “energy island”—largely independent from neighboring power grids—makes it especially vulnerable to such strikes. A coordinated attack on these facilities could have significant consequences for the nation’s infrastructure and daily life. As geopolitical alliances continue to shift and intensify, the situation underscores the growing complexity and potential for escalation in the Middle East and beyond.
